One thing I don't understand is why he's sticking to the "soylent" branding. You'd think with the association with Soylent Green and the general evocation of "soiled" from the word he ought to ditch it.

I love that people are developing products like this. This is an ambitious one, but I too enjoy the name of it. This should go hand-in-hand with reducing food waste to preserve our food supply and not outstretch ourselves. Really, the waste should be a priority but this is cool too.

I love the Soylent name. It's not glamorous and incredibly dark and brilliant.

I did as well. Too bad the concoction isn't green. But, perhaps that's for the best.
