This whole site is pretty fascinating. I had no idea that people race pigeons over thousands of miles. I'd love to know how they find their way home. I doubt they are watching during the trip away from home. It's as if they have an internal GPS.
Anyway, there seems to be a pretty developed world of pigeon-breeding, which I was unaware of until this morning.

1) I agree. It seems pretty obvious now. 2) The web rots. :/ The Way Back Machine grows more valuable every day. 3) I think it's incredible that on other sites you cannot. I have a co-worker whose husband races pigeons. It's a pretty serious affair. Big cash pots, hawks killing pigeons, and doping. It sounds like a scene begging for a documentary.
