Why? I guess most people don't use prostitutes, but prostitution is everywhere. I mean, they're in the bible. The bible is on the internet. So too, are prostitutes. I love ridiculous syllogisms. Really though, prostitutes are everywhere because the demand is everywhere. That said, I think more effort needs to go into legitimizing it as a profession, if only to protect sex workers by recognizing them as human beings earning a wage. Also, it would create inroads to deal with human trafficking.
