That is pretty amazing! Although the link in the article to this might have you beat :) I do feel a little bad that these things are probably meant to be thrown away, so I hope that this doesn't become too common. Still incredible that these devices can be made small and cheap enough. Also, I want one...

I'm waiting for the promise of cheap electronics integrated directly into paper or fabric. I can imagine crazy futures full of products with smart features. The future is such an exciting place.

Remind me when I get home to show you this super cool thing in paper. It's an origami sail boat and when you fold it, it lights ups!!! I got it at a trade show a few months back. Endlessly fascinated with the way electronics will potentially be embedded in EVERYTHING. A little disgruntled that the people with the money to do anything with it are brands and their ad dollars, but whatever. At least it's being created.

Woah... That sounds incredible! It's also pretty nice that they're being handed out at tradeshows, as I imagine that means they aren't too far from being in actual products. Don't worry too much about brands being the only ones to be able to afford stuff like this. Based on the progress and advances in 3D printing and arduino/raspberry pi I think electronic gadgets will become far more accessible. The average consumer may never be able to do same uber-tech ideas as large companies, but we soon may be able to come close enough to satisfy me.
