I find this completely disrespectful and also have to wonder ... did they buy the rights to her image somehow? I imagine it's a legal grey area.

Good question, it's one that leoncrawl stopped by Hubski to talk about via his Boston Globe piece titled Who Owns You After You Die. It's a good read and definitely relevant. Turns out it is a bit of a grey area.
