Any recommendations? I'm trying to only spend $30 -- which I know limits my options, and maybe there's no point doing compare and contrast at that price level. Either way, input is welcome.
I'm looking at these as a preliminary foray.
EDIT: thanks a bunch, everyone.
Sennheiser is a good way to go, and with only $30 that isn't a lot...
I'll recommend Audiofly AF33. http://www.audiofly.com/headphones.html I personally have the AF56 and AF78 and they're fantastic.
I recently went through the same process and the editor at this website reviews a wide range of headphones, you might want to check out. http://www.innerfidelity.com He apparently did an AMA on reddit recently. Here's the link http://www.reddit.com/r/headphones/comments/19c7eo/i_am_tyll.../ And there is this Koss PortaPro which has been around for almost 30 years and it has very good reviews, goes for $35 currently. http://www.amazon.com/Koss-PortaPro-Headphones-with-Case/dp/... I hope it helps.
ecib I recall you recently mentioning you were happy with a pair that you were gifted. Would you recommend?
I got the sony's people recommended to me a year ago. Been very happy with them for cute, basic, headphones. Can't seem to find thread but yeah. They rock. http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDR-ZX100-Series-Headphones-White...
Hey flag, The amazon reviews on those seem pretty good. One site I stumbled upon is this: http://www.head-fi.org/f/ Not sure if those are reviewed on there, but that site seems to be a hardcore forum for headphone geeks. I learned a lot just by spending a couple hours poking around on it. Might be worth checking out. Edit: oops, wrong link. fixed.
