This was my 2nd favorite album of 2011. Such a great album, lots of influence from 80's electronic music while taking a shot at the pop culture and how everything's already been done. Such a nice, funky and relaxed feel. I could go on and on, but yeah, this is a great track off a great album.

What was your 1st favorite? Dunno if you've listened to much of his other stuff, but "Destroyer's Rubies" kinda changed the way I thought about music.

Hurry Up, We're Dreaming by M83 was a notch above Kaputt. That album absolutely blew me away from beginning to end.

Rubies and Kaputt are the only two I've listened to so far, Rubies was great too but I preferred Kaputt.

Been meaning to get my hands on that one as soon as I have some spending money. I've heard nothing but good things, and the tracks I've heard off of it are strong. If you're into the more abstract side of electro pop, you might check out Andy Stott's 2012 release, "Luxury Problems." It's not as immediate as M83, but it's absolutely mind-bending, especially through good headphones.
