Can't really contribute a classic rock list, not really my thing. Here's a list of musicians from the emo revival scene, which I know the best. (Sorry if nobody has any idea what I'm talking about):

Well, theoretically my list could have had Entwhistle on vocals, Marvin Gaye playing the sitar and Paul and John setting up the sound system beforehand, but your point is valid.

Horbal? I hear about him all the time, and I know he's part of TWIABP and was a part of MHJ but besides that I have no idea what he does.
