"the procrastinator can be motivated to do difficult, timely and important tasks, as long as these tasks are a way of not doing something more important. Structured procrastination means shaping the structure of the tasks one has to do in a way that exploits this fact."

-Man, this hits close to home. I always have several projects going and the one that I am most excited about is often NOT the one that is the most important. When the most exciting project is my actual employment, it's a good day/week/month/year.

Now that I am a father, I am more aware that the project that makes me the most $ needs to be in the "drivers seat".

I enjoyed this post, it allowed me to "structurally avoid" my other pressing obligations and spend some time on hubski.

Isn't that why we love this site? Its allows us to be free but still feel like we're accomplishing something! Genius.

That's definitely a big part of it :)

Now I could get back to work or I could read about "Euro Crisis pushing Portuguese women into prostitution".

Sorry expense reports, Portuguese prostitution wins. -was it ever really a contest?
