I really liked this article. It paints a portrait of someone with mental illness not as a victim or a crazy; but an active person with a demanding job where the structure of the job is a key to managing the symptoms of the mental disorder.
In Perl's Gestalt Psychology, there is an offhanded comment that neuroses are usually bad, but sometimes they cause people to order their lives in a way to achieve something unusual or at least have the necessary structure to survive. I found myself connecting that comment with this article a bit.
