I'm always dubious of 'architecture' like this.
Lebbeus Woods designed floating architectural objects, or buildings sitting on a frictionless plinth as a way of exploring architecture in a post conflict environment. And it touches on architectural themes, but I think it's the exclusion of the constructable aspect that makes me a bit uncomfortable with it. Like, if it can't leave paper, is it really actual architecture?
