It is an interesting point about the US Senate. We undoubtable live in a federal system, but power is very state-based. Perhaps what OWS should demand is one Senator gauranteed each state, then the other 50 by population with no state having more than three. That would change US politics overnight. But it probably would start a civil war too. :/
Its funny that Al Jazeera is the publishing a series on anti-intellectualism and lack of critical thinking in the US, since the majority of people here would probably dismiss them as Arab propagandists without reading the articles! The world is full of good irony for those who can spot it.
