If I had I completely forgot. I run the other way - if there's no intrinsic value things are much too easy to manipulate through stampeding. The stock market is played by millions and still a few power brokers can splash things however they want. the art world? Forget it. You can't even look up a P/E ratio for art.
I think I confused the conversation with another. Anyways, I've continued my collection of artwork from local artists and it's very gratifying. I try to get a new piece for our home ever month or so. It makes such a big difference.
