You should have tagged this as #Reddit, as most of us ignore it so that we don't have to see posts about it. There are plenty of people here from Reddit, and are here for the same reasons, but I came here for quality content, not to circlejerk about how bad Reddit is. DAE style posts and stuff bitching about Reddit seems to be frowned upon by a lot of the community here.

Many people will, as a result of reading this, just ignore you by username. Seeing how your comment/share history seems to be nothing but Reddit/Circlejerk/Gonewild/yoloswag stuff so far.

Just an FYI...

Ouch man, harsh.

AlderaanDuran  ·  4332 days ago  ·  link  ·

I don't see what I said as harsh, I was giving advice, because that's what seems to happen around here.

Sorry if it came off that way, was not my intent. Just saying if he keeps doing what he's doing don't be surprised if everyone ignores him. I lurked and read the rules and learned the etiquette around here before posting. And from what I've gathered, coming in here all "DAE QUIT REDDIT?" seems to be a quick way to get on a lot of peoples ignore lists.

Was only advice, sorry if it came off offensive!

No, you're right - it's just very cutting, lol.

not sure ignoring something with the #reddit is a good thing. I agree these types of posts are annoying and we can do well without all the "Reddit/Circlejerk/Gonewild/yoloswag stuff".

But there could (should) be a healthy discussion on emerging reddit changes and behaviors.

AlderaanDuran  ·  4327 days ago  ·  link  ·

Well if you and others care about emerging Reddit changes and behaviors that's fine, but I don't need to bother with it. :)

I'm not really into the meta type stuff anyway. I left Reddit to get away from Reddit, and didn't come to Hubski to talk about Reddit. I have no problem if others want to, and that's the beauty of the ignore feature on Hubski. If I personally don't want to see it I can ignore it, if others are interested they can be.
