I play on some of the really crappy early demos like This one but anything that has been done in studio is Dan. You can clearly hear the difference. Dan's amazing, I'm a newbie. Dan actually gave me a few lessons to get me started but I've not played much lately. Just too busy during the day and then at night they're too loud. I do enjoy it quite a bit though.
I really like that song actually, has a cool feel and the drums sound great, especially for a demo. I wanted to ask you, what kind of work do u do, is it Hubski related? Sorry for all of the reply's back and forth, I know it is time consuming, I have to be honest though its just nice to conversate with someone who plays, it's been like 12 yrs of staying to myself with music, except for talking and sharing with Cathy, who is by far my biggest supporter.
I definitely work on Hubski a lot. Doesn't feel like work though.
Hey Steve, just checking in to see how the recording is going?
I started something last night but it really sucks. I think I may scrap it and start over. It was fun though. I had an idea a while back that I think I might try and tackle tomorrow night. How is it going for you?
OK, just trying to find the time and just trying to get in the mind frame of putting one part with another, have always came up with a part and then moved on. Did u get ahold of your friend Brian?
Yeah, he's out. I'll have something to show on Sunday night. It may be crap, but still it's the process that matters. Making music is fun.
So fun and either way Ill have something too, most likely with no vocal. Excited to hear your song, talk to you Sun.
