Deerhoof fell off my radar for a few years there. I've seen them three times in concert and have really enjoyed following the arc of their changing sound. Their new album, The Breakup Song, is a bit more challenging than their last few, but it's them in spades. If anyone here needs an album to get their feet wet with, I'd try The Runners Four. Or better yet, just watch their drummer Greg Saunier play Milk Man live. Dude is mad talented.
I watched that video, he is a madman. I recall being introduced to Reindeer Section by Jo and then telling you about how she turned me on to this great band and you were like, "yeah dude, I love that band, their one of my favorites". -You remember that? Thwarted my effort to introduce you to something.
Don't feel bad pal. My Beatles knowledge has increased ten fold because of you. I think you introduced me to The Last Waltz too. So there's that, and it ain't nothing for damn sure :)
