Interesting. I can't believe this, but I've still not been to Europe. Is it difficult to charge products etc when traveling there? I'm going to Scotland in the spring and would like to know.

Also, whenever I look under my computer desk or at my entertainment center in our living room, I am struck by how many power outlets, plugs, cables are necessary. In the day and age of wireless technology it just seems antiquated. I realize that wireless power is a different ballgame, but still there is something "old fashioned" about chords and cables.

Wireless power isn't all that hard, it is just really inefficient to charge something wirelessly (think 80% instead of 95%).

Make sure you buy some universal adapters. American power adapters might fit in the Scottish ones, but when going to mainland Europe, you will need a different adapter.

You can buy a 110/220 adapter at any hardware store or Amazon. They you can just bring your normal phone or computer cord, or whatever it is you're charging.

I thought that many standard adapters were designed for 110/230V nowadays?

I figured, but wasn't sure if it was still necessary these days. Better safe than sorry I suppose.
