Recently, I had the opportunity to spend a week in NYC. Since it was my first time in NYC, I did make a point to go to all the traditional tourist attractions (Times Square, Natural History Museum, Central Park, Statue of Liberty, etc.). However, I also spent some time in an amazing little store in Brooklyn, called the Brooklyn Superhero Supply Store. It is a great idea for a store, and an awesome experience. If you are a superhero and need some cheap supplies, you definitely need to check it out.
If you have a chance to go to Brooklyn, definitely go! I bought me some Black Hole.
I typically don't go for stores like this, but this one warrants an exception. What was the highlight of your trip!?
Museum of Natural History and the Hayden Planetarium!!! I spent a whole day in that place. By far the best museum experience of my life!
The Museum of Natural History is really nice and so expansive, great amount of quality content there. Planetariums are always a good time as well!
Nice. How much does a can of "black hole" go for these days? Also.. please don't open it. Hope you enjoyed the city. Any standout moments aside from your time in the superhero store?
Apparently you can destroy the solar system for about 10 bucks nowadays. And even though they only let superheroes in the store, they don't really conduct an extensive background check (black hole control anyone?). I loved NYC, definitely a great experience. One "standout" moment included trying to read a subway map, only to find myself standing next to a homeless man peeing on it. Good times.
