Super easy, low-budget, delicious meal. For you fine young bachelors, this could probably keep you full for at least a few days. Feeds a family of four with a little leftover.
Needs: - 4 cups of shredded colby jack. - Milk - Long, hollow macaroni (preferred) or large shells. - Casserole dish. - Oven and stove. - Good arteries.
1. Boil the noodles, preheat oven to 350. 2. Drain and rinse noodles. 3. Layer half the noodles in the dish, then half the cheese. Repeat once. If you repeat twice, you bought too much stuff. 4. Pour about 1.5 cups of milk in. More will be gooier, less will be more dry. 5. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the cheese begins to brown.
Goes great with bratwurst, porkchops or really anything. If you have a recipe to share I'd love to see it!
I don't know is there? I couldn't even find the news haha
NotPhil has some great microwave recipes. This one sounds awesome, I love cooking.
Thanks, thefoundation. Speaking of macaroni and cheese, here are the microwave directions that manufacturers don't print on the box anymore: No Drain Microwave Directions 1. Pour Macaroni into 1½ or 2 quart microwavable bowl. Add 1¾ cups hot water. 2. Microwave, uncovered, with 1000 watts for 8 to 10 minutes or until water is absorbed, stirring every 3 minutes. 3. Add ¼ cup margarine, ¼ cup milk and Cheese Sauce Mix; mix well. Makes about 3 cups.
