To all Dear Readers,
I have been increasingly concerned with changing face of social networking platform steadily making their way in our personal life and especially affecting the way we make choices about our daily needs. They seem to have successfully groomed us to go in devised direction by their continual spying on our personal data and designing the information map we travel on day-to-day basis; something like to each is its own network of information and isolated from the rest.
I don't mind sharing some of my personal data, so long as I understand what it is being used for. For example, I don't mind Google requesting GPS coordinates from my phone, if I knew it would only be used to send advertisements that are relevant to my locality. It genuinely improves my experience of their service. However, I object to the wording on terms of service that allow companies to build and store a very detailed user profile and use that information across any of their associated services (or even worse share with other associated companies). I deleted my Facebook account in the middle of 2012 for this very reason.
