I hope that this becomes the rule and not the exception. if organized religion has to be in the forefront of our politics, I would at least rest assured if I felt like Christians focused more on christs teachings and less on how to use biblical texts to persue a fear based conservative agenda. There are a lot of churches out there preaching tolerance and inclusion, they just don't get the media coverage. Why not?
