I've read a lot of his too, I really liked the one about the Russians and the Americans coming up from underground and watching the sunrise and joining the city (I'm not good with titles). Asimov's books/stories consistently entertained me, but some of Dick's stuff didn't always do it for me.
The Life Cycle of Software Objects by Ted Chiang Second time I've suggested this today. It was posted by caio a while back and I recall really enjoying it. Hope you do too.
Here's a really short short story, one of my favourites : http://www.eastoftheweb.com/short-stories/UBooks/TheyMade.sh...
Forgive the irrelevance of my comment, but is your handle, BT, related in any way to the character of .hack//SIGN?
There is a mail feature that provides a way to PM another user. Under "my hubski" there is a "mail" button. You just need to type the username into the "To" field, and they will get a notification. Mail functions similar to a text post, except only the designated user(s) can see it.
What b_b said is true. However, you can also just click on a user's name, and click "send mail to user" which will take you there and auto-fill 'to' line. But, even more fun: you can name as many users as you like in the 'to' field, and start a private group conversation.
