Maybe it's my love of space, maybe it's my love of history, maybe it's how easily a great speaker gets me to swoon, but if I ever want to feel good/bad/happy/sad/inspired I'll watch this video. It really has a special place in my heart.
Charlie Chaplin's Speech from The Great Dictator.
I recently discovered that my dream is life is to live without money, and this video resonated deeply with my soul. My favorite quotes from this is, "If you say that getting the money is the most important thing, you will spend your life completely wasting your time. You'll be doing things you don't like doing in order to go on living. That is, to go on doing things you don't like doing, which is stupid! Better to have a short life that is full of what you like doing than a long life spent in a miserable way. And after all, if you do really like what you're doing, it doesn't matter what it is. You can eventually become a master of it."
Not a youtube video, but inspiring none the less. Growing is Forever

An online video game player has a moment of inspiration. This always makes me feel a little better about whatever I am doing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCzWX8DdzAg
We need a #frisson hashtag. Be it for a quote, or videos like the ones being posted, I'd come here just to feel shudders down my spine.
This is the joy of Hubski--you can tag stuff as you will. Others may follow.
And another, recently found http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=_...
Found this as a related video to Chaplin's Speech. Kind of fun to see how some people failed so much and then came back to succeed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzBCI13rJmA
This is what a simple man, with a clear purpose, can do. This is the immortal Fred Rogers, before the US Congress. Always brings me to tears.
Children no longer get to see the trees, streams, shadows, and creatures of the forests as they once did. The sights that invoked immagination.
It's very obvious how much this man cares, and I've gained a much higher respect towards him. May he rest in peace.I've very much been concerned with what our children are seeing.
This is relatively old, but as I was re-reading my tweets, I stumbled across this video and found it to be still very inspiring:
I did enjoy this, but I did notice it was biased toward Atheism. I am a Christian, and true Christianity lived through the Bible preaches acceptance of every one else's cupboards. It's a shame that a lot of what is out there now about Christianity revolves around the "turn or burn" mantra.
Touche. I feel that most often times people think of Christians as close minded people. But look at Jesus and Zaccheaus. Tax collectors were the most hated people of the time, and Jesus went out and invited him for some food. I'd say that's acceptance.
40 Inspirational Speeches in 2 Minutes, it got me through many a dark moment studying for my degree!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLjA6JejyJQ This one is my favourite from the last month. It's superb. As someone who is fighting anxiety etc. it really gives me a good hope :)

A very beautiful speech. I don't very much like Apple, but watching this did give me more appreciation for the late Steve. He truly was a visionary and wanted to improve the world.
I'm no huge fan of Apple myself, but Steve sure was (and still is) inspiring I think. Glad you appreciate the clip
I mainly dislike them because the technology isn't worth what they charge. I know that something is worth what people are willing to pay. But in comparison to say, Samsung (who's devices are always great), everything is about three times as much as it should be. But yes, very inspiring person.
