i've had quite enough of Children and the things we need to do to Protect Our Children. it's not about social media, it's about societal control. they need to control every aspect of kids' lives and the internet is the last way they can't break down and isolate kids. it's not enough to helicopter micromanage them from birth? kids are miserable because they're smart and they see the adults they rely on thumb their asses over crisis after crisis. what is there to look forward to? get shot on campus, drown in debt, work 2 jobs to rent half a bedroom, never buy a house, never retire, and die in a flood when the ice caps melt? and be grateful for it, because this guy's shitty daughter looks at her ipad too much? doomer hat off: the internet is addictive and bad for your brain. it's also all the kids have left - drug use is down, sex is down, friendship is down, free time is down. cut them some slack and stop doing apologia for people who would rather see their kids get shot than turn out gay
