(A small reminder I'm writing this from the future, wooOoOooo 12.53pm January 1st) The fireworks in my city began at about 10pm last night and petered out by 11pm, I think everyone but the council got itchy fingers and went for it. Then once everything had settled, the council midnight boom-fest began! No peace for anyone, 2023 arrives guns-blazing. It's a loverly summer day to bring in a new year and people are out walking their dogs, I saw some stranger waiting for a taxi in our cul de sac (I suspect he got lucky last night and now begins a trek home) and there's this wonderful calmness about everything today. Nobody is in a rush. Big ups to everyone on Hubski, I hope 2023 is the year you do the thing you've always wanted to do.
