Turkish license plate, with Mediterranean flora, and a taxi stand sign like you'd see outside of a small airport, bus station, or train terminal. So I can nail it down to ... Turkey, on the north side of the Bosphorus. Probably the Mediterranean side of the peninsula, rather than the Black Sea (or Sea of Marmara) side.

That's my guess...

(Oh. And I just noticed the "Exit" sign in Turkish - Cikis - on the far left of the image. So yeah... a Turkish transit station of some sort on the Mediterranean northern coast.)

Sakarya (on the license plate) is a place east of Istanbul, so I'm putting my money on somewhere east of Istanbul. But that feels a bit like cheating.

I love GeoGuessr. I'm surprisingly good at pinpointing/recognizing/recalling any location I've ever been to, and I'm also quite good at spatial reasoning/deduction. So it's fun to play that game with my SO just to have her go "how on earth did you know that".

The car may be from east of Istanbul, but I feel like the plants/trees are much more Mediterranean, and east if Istanbul it gets pretty dusty/dirty/deserty pretty quickly... and the car has a lot of that dust/dirt on it from the desert ... but the other cars in the lot do not.

That curved front of the building is really key ... it's an architectural curiosity that should be easy to find ... but I'm not finding it anywhere ...

Point to veen, the license frame was a spoiler (54 is also the license plate code for Sakarya).
