I'm flying in to New York next week. Should I be worried?

If anyone associated with this had bothered to look at a civil defense manual they would have discovered the plan has always been the subways etc. But that would have involved coordinating with MTA and I'll bet MTA wasn't at all entertained by any of this so instead they went with "get indoors."
So we should run to a subway if the sirens start sounding? Got it. Hopefully they don't flood.
No, don't worry. It's almost 100% likely that nothing nuclear bomb-y is going to happen in the short term, at least for several months, and very likely much longer than that.
