On the right the argument usually goes (1) families matter (2) families are dissolving (3) It's probably because those horrible leftists keep insisting men should sit down to pee.

That's the "luxury belief" of the "defund the police" argument, not that rich white people wanna defund the police because they can afford to live without cops, but that the modern carceral state is, by design, an instrument to suppress reconstruction:

So you follow that with a bunch of cherry-picked, pointless statistics (chicks dig statistics). Finally you bring it back to personal responsibility:

As an 8th grade math and science teacher , I can report that I see boatloads of low expectations coming from the homes ofmy students. I do nave some boys that actively disrupt my class and are defended by Mom or Dad, as I theunfair teacher play the role of classroom referee and call foul when necessary in my classroom and apply the proper consequence.

  In the past several years,I have yet to have a parent thank me for taking the extra time to contact them over my concern for their son’s lack of progress in my class.  

Wake up people! Parent is a verb!
