I hear the same vote is in place for Washington and Oregon. You won't be able to just light up a joint on the street though. You'll have to do it at home. I think it'll pass in one of those three states at least. It will be interesting to see what the feds do after. I think they might just look the other way for a bit and see where it goes.

The Feds only go after the med dispensaries in Colorado when they are too close to a school or violate some other part of the law. But even then... "going after them" usually amounts to a few letters.

Considering that they've been actively going after medical dispensaries in California, even though they are declared legal by the state, i doubt that passing these will change much in the feds' approach, unfortunately. One can hope though.

We have a large number of them here in Ann Arbor, and I haven't heard of any Fed interactions, even though our MI Attorney General hates them.

It's an interesting issue. Conservatives are often the most anti-drug, but they also usually hate the Feds overruling state law. But not so much for gay rights...

Yeah, I don't see much hope when this is the DEA chief. It would be hilariously funny if it wasn't for the countless lives affected by the policies enforced by her and her agency.
