This is as good as it gets, folx - no moon! Find a dark sky (with no clouds) near you, dress warm, and enjoy the show.
If ya have the young’ns, the show will be slighlty visible about an hour after sunset. Though, the best times will be shortly after midnight.
In the best of spots, you can catch close to a meteor every few minutes. While it’s highly unlikely this year, we can wish upon a star for a ‘meteor storm’ where there are a more than a few meteors a second.
You’ll want to look for the Leo constellation (‘cuz that’s where they’re coming from).
