The story must go: Team Trump put out word that Giuliani would be speaking at the Four Seasons hotel, and then the hotel owner or management or corporate or whoever got word and was like "oh no you're not". One Google map search later, in an attempt to save face, someone decided "yeah we totally meant this other Four Seasons place!". I can't think of another explanation, but oof, Nuzzi's gonna get to the bottom of this, hahahah.
Ockham's Razor has been cutting to this conclusion all afternoon. If you google "Best hotel Philadelphia" the Four Seasons comes up as the most expensive. Trump probably said to book it, they discovered that The Four Seasons is Canadian and not at all interested in having anything to do with this, and since Jared Kushner is in charge of the recount imagine who got stuck booking the conference. Anyway, Four Seasons is a no-go, we can't have Trump issue a correction because he will lose his shit, so someone did a hail mary straight out of Arrested Development and the world saluted the writer's room for their amazing Season Finale.
