Meh the financial media had always been bad it just wasn’t as obvious before. Confusing means with medians or using or using seasonaly adjusted numbers against corrected prior years all sorts of shenanigans that show up only if you know where to look. The difference now is that the people writing these articles have become even more blatant because you know math is hard.
