So, you're not abjectly wrong. But there are disclaimers and contingencies to most of your statements like In this specific microcosm of Fuckery-in-the-Caucasus, this wiki sums it up pretty well.Russia supports Armenia

and they're doing their best to fend off the protestors
Historically these truths have all been time-sensitive, e.g. Russia supports a version of Armenia that is stable enough to continue being profitable, but is in no way a military priority that might aid in the defense of a Turkic invasion. Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan are all former Soviet bloc, but at least two of them have been invaded by Russian forces or proxy post-independence at least once.
