That uniform is a half-inch thick wool coat and I sweat through it front and back lol. Holding onto it for when my future kid/s fit in for my own amusement.
I doubt I could cope in that even during winter. Still, kudos for enduring that and for graduating. Well done.
Congratulations man, that's one hell of an accomplishment. What did you end up branching? Know where you're headed yet?
Branched FA! Going to Ft. Sill, OK for BOLC until about August 2021 and then Ft. Wainwright, AK for 2-3 years. After that, no way to tell as of now. I'm heading back to WP in a few days to help facilitate their basic training until late August. It'd be a privilege to touch base with you if you're ever in any of these areas, by the way.
It all seems to have come full circle, eh? Great choices, I've heard Wainwright can be one hell of a good time. Unfortunately I doubt I'll be headed either of those directions soon but my schedule is so unpredictable who knows. I'll be sure to let you know.
Ho-ly shit. Hahaha. That kid had no idea what he was getting into.
Ummm. I assume your training is strict enough that you're able to not laugh at that sentence? But congrats, buddy. We're all proud of you.“What has historically made America unique is the durability of its institutions against the passions and prejudices of the moment,” Mr. Trump told the cadets.
We couldn't burst into laughter but god damn it the whole speech was hysterical. Amazingly, the President did not go off script save for one or two instances where we all held our breaths and prepared for a downward spiral--it never came. It seemed like he was trying his best to keep it together. And thank you, off to bigger and better things.
Did you see him slowly shuffling down the ramp at the end? Or the two-handed water drink? I think he's had a stroke.
The two-handed water drink was real. I'm pretty sure it had been documented before, possibly on his campaign trail? The ramp shuffle seems a little blown out of proportion lol, the guy is 6'3 and he's just a lot of person. I think he was just being careful.
The two-handed drinking could be essential tremor too. Pretty common in men, especially as we age. I've got it myself and I have to use two hands to drink or I'll end up spilling everything.
