So... asking for a friend... If you had a second home a 9 hour drive away. Is it bad to drive there for the week of spring break to have a change of pace? Still not eating out. Still not going anywhere but on hikes/walks away from everyone but your family. The only contamination points I could think of would be the gas pump halfway there. Thoughts?
Not flag waving patriotic, neighborly patriotic. Realizing that things are bigger than personal wants and desires at the moment, and that our actions, no matter how small individually, can make a collective impact. . . . I picked a hell of a time to cancel Netflix though.
Man, I got an email from Netflix saying "please come back", and learned I had somehow cancelled my membership. So I went to re-do it and they wouldn't accept my card. Or my partners. For like three days we tried to give them money and I gave up. However, my family latch onto my account like baby possums so they noticed the lack of Netflix. Mum eventually tried her hand and her card was rejected under my account, so she made her own account. Now I am the baby possum.
As the spread continues we've seen a progression of movement restricted first between nation states, then between towns, then between cities, then within cities, all the while knowing that the best way to combat the spread is to restrict movement at an atomic (within a domicile) level. Totally makes sense we'll be getting there soon in a more universal sense. Other places have a while ago, and we've started here as well in a decentralized and not very cohesive way. Consensus is coming for us all.
I hope drizly(.com) et al. remain able to deliver booze. Still doesn’t address my concerns about the booze supply chain, though.
