Hey y'all,
Some random literary magazine I ain't submitted to in over 5 years reached out to me and was like, "Hey remember us? You should submit?"
I was like..."Really? Holy hell? You guys must be desperate."
They were like, "We like art in series! We'd like to buy stuff too!"
I was like, "Well boy do I actually have a weird art series I am working on right now. But soz dudes, this shit's all virtual, I can't send you a painting. Here goes, y'all."
They were like, "Hmm let's take look." (five seconds pass) "Nah boo."
I'd promised mk if it didn't get taken, I'd put it all up here. And I think it's kind nice to have a few non-corona cases every now and again.
peace out y'all

That lit mag is missing out. I agree with applewood re the zine vibe. However, it's not as topically narrow, or hip. You have something going on here. IMHO what is needed to take these to the next level is a format/device/channel of presentation. Gallery shows are probably out for the time being, but they deserve collation and to be part of a corpus. BTW, are you trolling me by misspelling redacted?
Yeah, I would agree. A zine feels like it could have them. Honestly, the CUI BONO/tinfoil hat one feels almost like an advert to me, or something. The whole "idea" is that they're an "investigative series" which reveals the "true victims" of conspiracy theories. Like, who really gets hurt? Meant to be interpreted with a humorous intent, obviously :) Thank you!
Thanks! The moon has Vivien Leigh's eyes. And, judging from Instagram, I think the lizards are underappreciated. :) And also, the by-line, "I think most times, things just happen" is one of my favorite parts of the piece. I get a big kick out of it, at least. To me, the lizards piece is the most funny one.
