Both are better for the environment than cows. Both taste like beef the way a soy hot cocoa tastes like cocoa or gluten free bread tastes like bread. All testaments to their amazeballs nature are aspirational. I've been known to stack a couple hamburger patties and a couple gardenburger patties with cheese, onions and mayo and eat them like a little torte. It offends everyone.
