Was texting mk and Cory Feldman came up. Kinda reminds me of the damage the song alludes to.
The song is from a pretty cool project. The Andy Warhol Museum and Pittsburgh Cultural Trust selected 13 of his famous screen tests, and commissioned Dean Wareham and Britta Philips to write one song for each of them, which they projected on the big screen as the band played the accompanying track live. Was able to catch it years ago, driving down to the Museum of Contemporary Art in Cleveland.
My work network won't let me play the video, so I'll check it out at home later. But this reminds me that I got to see San Francisco's "Clubfoot Orchestra" play the live musical accompaniment to Steamboat Willie at the Castro Theater in SF. It was amazing. All sound effects during the chase scenes, and several spots of musical virtuosity that caused the crowd to cheer out loud at their accomplishment! It was wonderful.
