There’s almost no escaping the fact that we now have permanent location records attributed to each of us. As a start, you should be able to sort apps by their behavior. For example, I should be able to pull up a list of all apps that are using location, and a recent history of their doing so. Currently, privacy controls are only revealed app by app. That said, our browsers do it too. Cookies, plus location, are building similar profiles.
