It seems to me that part of the problem is that we haven't interrogated the ideas/worldviews that fascism builds itself from. People argue about whether putting immigrants in camps is fascism -- which illustrates that even if they know the nazis are bad they still haven't interrogated their morals and values to determine what it is about fascism that makes it wrong. Until we do that, I think we'll always be battling fascist language.
