Thanks lil. It's fun to read and chime in. And I liked the way you phrased your answers. Name: blackbootz Location: Baltimore, Maryland, USA Age: 27 Current Preoccupation: waiting for my next college class which starts in 30 minutes. Which means I'm preoccupied with graduating college. Which means I'm preoccupied with figuring out what I'll do after college. Which means I'm age-appropriately squirming with eagerness and anxiety about my future. The preoccupations that bring me the most joy--important preoccupations, no?--are: spending time with people who like to listen and talk (who are, as my friend once put it, "into the enquiry"; acrobatics like gymnastics and random handstands; listening to smart and funny people talk on podcasts; learning (slowly) to cook. Some preoccupations that are not bringing me joy, in fact are bringing me anti-joy are: getting rejected from jobs that I think I want; a low-level anxiety about my percieved lack of tribe or familial environment; my screen usage, both phone and laptop. Previous Preoccupations: I was more than a few hydrogen atoms, then some heavier elements. Some heartmake. Then heartbreak. Also some heart repair, too. role and a purpose: My purpose is to be the most maximal me I can be. My role is undefined, but always coming clearer into focus.
