This has to be intentional, right? John Bolton's idea of a subtle threat, knowing someone would spot it and hoping it would scare Maduro into stepping down on his own accord. Has any newspapers done a proper analysis of this? Like; does Bolton usually carry around a notebook like that? Does that match his style of taking notes? Is that even his handwriting?

Even it was intentional that’s just batshit stupid. It would be a proud display of incompetence. There are far better ways to display intent without looking like a complete dunce.
