Strange phrasing by Bloomberg, but this seems to imply we are more thoughtful about the relationships we enter, or perhaps more pessimistically that we are not yet married long enough to go through divorce
Alex Gibney made the point in A Generation of Sociopaths that 'boomers have a hard time forming lasting relationships, one of the hallmarks of sociopathy. He also briefly pointed out just how much lead the 'boomers (and GenX - let's not forget GenX) were huffing down, a toxin that lowers IQ, reduces impulse control and damages decision-making. Yeah, lead made the crime rate go up. It probably also made the divorce rate go up. Shit, it probably contributed to shitheels like Kavanaugh gettin' all rapey in college. A decrease in the divorce rate is an unalloyed good. Just try not to be too superior about it, K?
In before "Millennials lack commitment so they don't get married that much in the first place."
