- In the interview at the immigration center on Monday, Ms. Vashukevich said that she had often recorded conversations between Mr. Deripaska and his associates, and that she had 16 to 18 hours of recordings, including conversations about the United States presidential election.
“They were discussing elections,” she said. “Deripaska had a plan about elections.”
But, she added, “I can’t tell you everything.”
Some of the conversations were with three people who spoke English fluently and who she thought were Americans, she said.
A candidate for b_b Edit: although more reputable people (no offense, escorts) have said crazier things to get out of a tight spot
The funniest thing I've read on Twitter in a long time was someone observing the irony of a woman named Nastya being the one to potentially take down Trump. I'm skeptical of her claims (because I think she'd be dead already if she has what she claims to have), but one can dream.
Only topper would be if it was a woman named Ivanna Pissalovya, but then we’re at full-blown Austin Powers.
I think it's more than appropriate to be skeptical. If this is a planted source and the recordings are talked up, aired, then proven by the Deripaska/Russian sources to be incomplete or fabricated it'd be a real slam to the broadcasting parties' credibility.
Totally agree. This recent article (never posted here) is a great primer on the issue of trust in the realm of international intelligence. Better than a Bond movie, imho.
