Maybe some future pubski post of mine will include a bit of animal life color :) RE: your job search and finding gratifying employment, I saw this video a while ago and was struck by the simple beauty of "something with my hands, like locksmith, arborist, plumber, etc." for the first time in a while. In this case, your "etc" was my "baker", but I feel you on a fundamental level. Don't give up on fulfillment. Keep us updated on how you're doing.
