I wouldnt be surprised if it settles in the $10 range. I don't see Fb going away, but I don't see it growing much more either.
The strange thing is I don't think it will even lose market share more people use it than ever. This is more about the end of free money on the internet.
I agree that they will keep their marketshare for quite some time, but I don't see it getting substantially bigger. As the web evolves, FB is going to have legacy drag on it. As more interesting options come along, FB is going to look less interesting to newcomers. I also agree that we are nearing the end of free money on the internet. At least the reality of advertising is starting to crystallize. When it comes to leveraging ads, not all apps are created equal, and although social ads look great from a marketer's perspective, they suck from a user's perspective.
They "look" great from a marketers perspective but they are quite a bit like shouting down a hole. Mark should find a brick and mortar actually sells stuff business.
I agree with that. As I've said previously, they should build or buy an Amazon competitor. They could use the FB data on that platform.
It looks like we are in agreement. I wish I could make rational business choices in my own life as well as I can make them for facebook. :(
