If you traveled back in time and told the average 1980's man on the street that the Donald Trump presidential administration became mired in a scandal involving Russians, golden showers, Azerbaijani pop stars and a marketing guido associated with the Miss Universe pageant, he'd respond "Of course it did. "
I love how Julian Assange sending an unsolicited email is now top news. "I sent Donald Trump a tweet insisting he release his tax returns; four months later he did right before Rachel Maddow did. Therefore, I made Donald Trump release his tax returns."
When I really think about it, Assange has done TERRIBLE things to stay relevant, and I shouldn't give him another bit of publicity when it's this unwarranted. I trusted you, Guardian. No more taking your headlines at their word. scratches news source #239 off the list
these people are clearly untouchable... or perhaps DTjr will do some minimal time and take the heat for the whole crew... or perhaps they'll find some other person to take the fall. The signal to noise is so jacked on this situation that I don't see ANYTHING happening about this... while we all listen to the static - other shit is happening. smoke and mirrors. tinfoil hats. canned food in the basement.
Trump can always pardon him too. . .or perhaps DTjr will do some minimal time and take the heat for the whole crew
Were it any other administration, I'd say a pardon in this situation would be political suicide. But trumpets online are already arguing about how this isn't a big deal, so who knows.
"I just ran Lexis news article searches. Trump NEVER mentioned HRC's 33,000 emails before Jun 9, 2016. After, he mentioned almost daily." -- https://twitter.com/4everNeverTrump/status/884905533517508608
