Hey I'm in a union and I've worked 26-hour days. Lucrative 26-hour days but still.

I'm not as upset about this as I could be. It's cash-on-top. Now - when they start compelling employees to do it we'll talk.

How soon do people stop getting hours if they don't "volunteer" for these deliveries. Also are they on insurance if they are clocked out and on the way home?

It is far easier to coerce someone making $10 an hour when there are no other jobs in the area than people like us who have tons of options.

You're not wrong. And it could happen. But I'm not going to get my dudgeon on until it happens. I don't think the average Walmart shopper is the kind of person who's gonna take delivery.
