My thoughts are this: If you don't go, a little part of you will regret that you passed it up... but I think that part will grow. If you go, and you decide you don't like it - you can bail at any time - it's not like you're joining the military. If you go, you have an opportunity that could (to expand on goob's exploding metaphor) send you into supernova. Not going just means you'll for sure go to your friend's wedding. Not going just means you'll be around your boyfriend (who seems awesome BTW) Not going means you might go to Burning Man... but it's not Burning Man 15 years ago... so yah... go... chase that adventure. I think (and hope) you can tell from all of our comments that we are all trying to live through you vicariously. There is no certain downside to doing this. There's only the possibility of HUGE upside. Basically I secretly hate you out of pure jealousy... but I don't... I love you.
