I'm still doing 20 push-ups before every shower. I'm more than a year in and think it's been worthwhile. katakowsj has a regimen of exercises that require very few accessories. Maybe he can chime in.

Felt nostalgia for something that was never in my youth in the first place, is there a word for that?

If so, it's French.

I should be doing that again. Colliding with a honda at speed wasn't so great for my shoulder, and push-ups are tricky without shoulders.

Sehnsucht is another one. It has some more subtle meanings in addition to nostalgia. I don't think it's appropriate for this situation but it's a good word.

"Nostalgia" is Greek through Latin.

If johnnyFive is willing, he could easily make a Greek word for "pain for something I never had" (algos meaning "pain").
